Preferred Communities is dedicated to meeting the needs of communities seeking comprehensive and high-quality management services at competitive prices. Our motto, “Loving where you live,” is central to our mission and permeates every aspect of our operations, from the appearance of the community to its financial health, daily operations, and the sense of belonging within the Association. We strive to create an environment where you feel valued and supported, ensuring that every call is met with a personal touch.
The success of Preferred Communities is built on the strong relationships our Community Managers cultivate with homeowners and the Board of Directors. Our community Managers’ primary role is to act judiciously and apply sound business judgment in all areas while always respecting the authority of the Board. We see ourselves as advisors, committed to guiding the Board in making informed decisions that benefit the community.
We are proud members of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM). Our Community Managers are encouraged to pursue their CAAM (Certified Arizona Association Manager), CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations), and AMS (Association Management Specialist) certifications. To stay current in the industry, our managers actively engage in ongoing education through vendor-sponsored seminars and training sessions. This commitment ensures they have access to the best technology, training, and mentorship, making them highly effective in their roles.
Our Community Managers also play a pivotal role in fostering a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere by supporting and assisting in the planning of community events. We collaborate with your Social Committee or Board Members to produce memorable gatherings. Some of our successful social events include Annual Easter Egg Hunts, Movies in the Park, Summer Water Activities, Holiday Light Contests, Hayrides, and Fall Festivals featuring entertainment and games. Our founders were instrumental in their community, earning the “Spirit of Mesa” award in 2004 for their exceptional contributions to event planning and community building.
